Mary did a great job on my waist length knotless braids. I arrived around 9:00 and was out around 2:00. I’m pretty tall so doing waist length knotless in that amount of time is super impressive. My hair looks amazing and I immediately started receiving compliments once I left the salon. She was on time and very sweet. This was my first time ever getting my hair braided by Mary and I’ll definitely be coming back on the future.
1. Booked my appointment several weeks ago, only for Mary’s assistant to be 40-50 minutes late. 2. Did not have enough of my hair color so instead of the assistant going to go get it herself. We both walked across the street with my hair all over the place smh 3. Had to tell the lady to restart because parts were crooked. Never had to do that to any braider 4. Told the lady that my edges were sensitive and continued to pull hard 5. The part in the middle of my head is obviously off center and braids were skinny at root instead of being consistent root to end of braid 6. Asked for waist length braids and proceeded to give me butt length and charged for me for a length I didn’t ask for. 7. When doing edges, she took a piece of hair out to make the edges picture worthy This was my first impression and I won’t be back
Love, lovvveee my knotless braids 😍. It's been about a month now. It only took about 3.5 hours (a little past bra length). The owner and her stylist were very friendly (the other stylist braided my hair). The owner did a great job on the other customers' hair as well.
I’m usually very picky with my hair, but when my older sister who for most of my life has been doing my hair suggested Mary for this particular style, I couldn’t say no. Needless to say, I have not been disappointed. For someone with strong textured natural hair, Mary knew how to manage my coils to establish a sleek finish. From the hairstyle to the process, everything was done professionally and to my satisfaction. Thank you Mary, I’ll be back!
What an absolute horrible experience!!! I booked my appointment to get Cornrows (four straight back). Where do I begin to start off it was the most painful experience that actually caused tears to come out of my eyes just during the combing session alone my hair was not tangled and has always been kept very well. Going further the person did not know how to properly come through here I was very very very upset at the fact Mary decided to have one of her assistance braid my hair and not hurt herself this was not what was agreed upon and was never expressed when I booked my appointment. The breathing session in itself was even more rigorous and I’ve never had somebody pull my hair as hard as today additionally they must’ve used half a pound of grease on my hair. It looks awful and I am scarred by going to a “hair professional” They ripped through my scalp and uses the blow dryer improperly several times. I will never recommend anyone go this place again. While I know Mary is decent at braiding her assistant ARE HORRIBLE. NEVER AGAIN
