My family (total of 5) have been using City Place Dental for about 10 years and have never experienced the problems we are experiencing right now (in real time). During the first week of September I contacted the office to request replacement retainers for my daughter who just had her braces removed in July (the puppy did it). I was told the replacement would be back within a week. Fast-forward two weeks and I call back to the office because I haven't heard from anyone and find out that "the lab didn't put in the order" and was asked to bring her back in for images to send to another lab. I called AGAIN to check on the status of that order on 10/4 and I was then told that I would get a return phone call with tracking information and that her retainers should be arriving by the end of that week. THAT CALL NEVER CAME. I waited ANOTHER WEEK (one whole month has passed at this point) and called AGAIN today (10/11/2023). Well, today I was told that "the lab lost her case" and was asked to bring her in to do a molding for a temporary retainer tomorrow because NOW we won't get the retainer that I ordered A MONTH AGO until ANOTHER MONTH HAS PASSED!!! This is totally unacceptable for so many reasons. Why are they not calling to follow up with either the patient OR the lab?? Why have I had to call several times to check the status? Why is the only answer they can give "the lab did..."? Why is their only suggestion going to cost ME more time off and my daughter more time out of school because we NOW have to go in for MORE images then GO BACK to pick up the temp. retainer? Why was the temp retainer not suggested BEFORE now? Why are these labs (we are on lab #2 now) losing my child's retainer order? The lab does not owe me a phone call or explanation so, as a patient, I honestly do not care to know about the deficiencies existing at the lab. As a patient of City Place Dental however, I expect and should receive timely follow-up communication because this is time-sensitive work (more time = more spacing/gaps open back up)! I also should not have had to call six times and bring my daughter in three times just to receive NOTHING (not even a call) from City Place Dental. Not even so much as an apology for any of this! I am truly disappointed in the service I have recently received and intend to look elsewhere as soon as they get the replacement retainer into my child's mouth.
The best. I’ve been coming here since the mid-90’s. Dr. Kingsley does some of the best work around this town. He is kind & compassionate. He is very knowledgeable about dentistry and his work is impeccable. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with work that requires skill.
Awesome staff. Very caring and professional, they made me feel very comfortable. Excellent work and no pain at all. If you’re searching for a new dentist, look no further.
Staff were all very skilled and helpful. They listened carefully and took the time to fully address specific concerns I had. Excellent facility and equipment. Smooth billing process. I would highly recommend this clinic.
I am so excited that my insurance website recommended City Place Dental Dr. Kingsley was so empathetic, patient and kind! He listened to what I wanted to get done and then gave me options that would deliver those results. As a first time patient, I definitely will be returning and recommending his office ! His front desk staff was very kind as well!
