New to the area & wanted to try. Arrived alil after 9am on a Tuesday. Neon Open sign off & in corner of window. “Closed up shop” it seems.
New to the area and it was the closest bakery to me so I stopped him. A gentleman comes to the counter who doesn’t speak English I asked for a menu. He shook his head no. There was no pastries and no bread anywhere on the shelves. I also don’t care if it’s a white owned or black owned business I wanted to try it. Glad I didn’t get my expectations up!
There is a rude lady that works the front counter. She has forgotten to make my order, then rudely calls me "princess" after being upset that I waited 1 hour and 40 minutes. Second time, she was rude when I ordered, she complained that she had to boil the eggs. And the final draw, I called and she said her phone is not working and can't hear me, I didn't even say a word. When I called back, she snapped and said the soup was ready and not to call again... I didn't even place an order. The owner is very kind so I tried 3 times to support local restaurant but I have not had good service there. I will continue to support le lambi but I will not spend my money where the service is horrific.
