A small group of us went to Victory Restaurant and Lounge for a last minute brunch plan. The morning of I was easily able to book a reservation for 3 originally at 12:15 pm, but after running late and being in a little traffic I was able to push by the reservation to 12:45 pm with ease through Open Table. This was our first time visiting and I can surely say I will be revisiting soon! Walking in the restaurant is nicely decorated with the floral esthetics! The vibe is definitely what you think of and plan for when it comes to “Sunday Brunch” with great music blasting and live DJ. They played R&B music with all the hits and made you want to do a day party afterwards lol. The restaurant is dimly lit but every table has a small lamp which was a nice touch. The restaurant is rather small but the seating is cozy with spacious booths for groups and small intimate tables for parties of 2. Everything on the menu sounds mouth watering, but my fiends and I all coincidentally ordered the crab and lobster omelette which was sooo good and I had a side of grits. The food was bomb! Collectively we had the slightest complaint that the omelette needed salt. They ordered a side of shrimp and said the shrimp was seasoned very well. We didn’t order alcoholic drinks so I can’t comment on that. But overall the place was vibeeeee and I want to return for lunch and dinner, and or try other dishes on the brunch menu!
Went to brunch here yesterday (5/6/23) with my cousin and one of my friends. The food was pretty good. The service was great and the bottomless mimosas were on point. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the decor as well.
Amazing service from Bobby. The food was delicious. Best lobster fried rice. The lamb chops were also juicy and perfectly cooked. Perfectly seasoned dishes with generous portion. The service was exception and the food and drinks were served promptly. I recommend!
This place is a scam! I will be disputing my charges. The decor is nice, the service was just ok but the food is Terrible and Overpriced. I ordered French Toast , fried chicken, gouda grits and a cocktail. When it came time to pay they show u what u ordered by the items, then take your payment. They charged a 20% service charge and an additional 4% on each item for using a ccard. So my drink was $16 on the menu and they charged me 16.64. Then, they expect you to pay an additional tip on top of those fees. When I questioned the waitress about the fees after reviewing the bill via email because they don’t price your bill beforehand, she replied that it was standard and she can’t change anything. This is my first and last time going to this place. I will also be reporting them n addition to disputing the charges with my bank. Super diss
Ok so this was my first time having oxtails. This probably wasn’t the best place to try them. However I don’t eat shellfish so there weren’t that many options. Since they only served there brunch menu. I have been to the one they use to have in Bowie md. They moved to dc and I believe it is one in Miami. We did have to wait a minuet for the food. We didn’t have silverware so we had to wait longer. I got a drink it was mid. My friend ask for no cheese on her eggs it was cheese. Smh
