If I could give it zero stars, I would. Ordered a custom cake (over $300) and the entire cake collapsed. Two tiered cake that was too top heavy. Contacted the owner, Alex and was told nothing could be done once it leaves her doors. TERRIBLE customer service!! Will NEVER go back! DO NOT ORDER ANY CUSTOM CAKES from them.
Cravings Cupcakery absolutely ruined my peace of mind this past Saturday for my sons first birthday by not having our PAID FOR order ready. I tried to rally but was truly devastated. They apologized to my husband (who went to pick up the cupcakes and smash cake we talked about, ordered, and paid for on the way to my sons party) and said they would deliver the cupcakes in 30 to us. TWO HOURS LATER..in came a laughable mixmatch of cupcakes- Some were funfetti, some were vanilla, some tasted like cinnamon, other people said they tasted coconut. Luckily, none of the kiddos who ate some were allergic to any of the random assortment ..non of which we agreed on. *THE ICING ON THE CAKE* (pun intended) was when we finally cut open this massive “smash cake” they brought to us, there was a giant roll of PLASTIC inside it. I almost don’t even have words for this. Like..What if I let my one year go to town on the cake and one of them choked on the plastic? Or cut it open at the party? Not to mention it’s disgusting and a total slap in the face on top of everything. Finally, get this, no call of apology was ever made. Just a late night email saying they would take 100.00 off my order..implying that I was going to pay them ANYTHING after this nightmare! I made a few posts on my social media to make others AWARE because, duh, if you get good customer service you tell a few people but bad service you tell the world! And SO many people chimed in! Late orders, wrong orders, MOLDY CAKE POPS! How are they still in business? My dad (now retired) was the director of health and safety for a major organization. He’ll be making a few calls to some health inspectors to check them out. Buyers beware!
I stumbled across this bakery as I was leaving a spa in the same area. The service Kate gave was impeccable. She was patient, kind, helpful and so positive!!! The espresso gelato was amazing! The banana pudding cupcake was sublime. The cake pop varieties available were plentiful. I purchased the key lime and pink champagne. So happy to have run across this gem. All treats were moist and tasty. The establishment was clean and the vibe was wonderful!! Very impressed!!
I like to try to stop by here to get a cappuccino if I'm in the area early enough in the day. I'm not the biggest cupcake fan, but I know others love their cupcakes. On the other hand, I do love cookies and they've always had a few on hand when I've been in the store. Very friendly people and cute atmosphere on the inside.
The lady there was very friendly. I do not like cream cheese icing so normally I don't get to have a Red Velvet cupcake but she put buttercream on one for me. I bought a strawberry cake pop and a chocolate covered pretzel but they did not make it home. That was my business though. Don't judge me. I put the Turtle cupcake in the microwave for 10 seconds and babyyyy Look at God! That cupcake was so good and rich. What a way to end my lunch break. I will definitely be back!
