i’ll start by saying I’ve had multiple issues before when trying to book my appointment online. Today I was supposed to get a silk press and after waiting over 45 minutes I was told that my appointment was not confirmed therefore I wouldn’t be able to be seen however I had a flight to catch and needed my hair done ASAP. she told me that her sister “Donesha Fletcher” might be able to take me for a last minute braiding slot. although Braids was not my first thought coming here today I decided to go large knotless braids. unfortunately I’m running into a couple of issues and this is why I’m making the review, firstly I was charged hundred dollars for uneven Braids, which were braided small at the root and incredibly uneven. secondly I wasn’t able to take a full look at the back of my hair until after I left. Once I noticed how poorly done my hair was I wanted at least 50 to 60% payment return and so far I am not having much luck due to the fact that she only uses cashapp which is notorious for not offering refunds. I say pick your braider and hairstyle wisely. Tequila is great but if you’re looking for a braider who is professional and consistent with styling look elsewhere.
I've been going to Tequila for a several years now and I only trust her with my haircare needs now. Her prices are reasonable and she's very honest and straight forward and lets you know what will work for your hair and what will not. She truly cares about her clients and treats everyone like family. I highly recommend Tequila for anyone who is seeking a professional hair stylist in the Bay area.
Ms. Tressa has a great store with a wide variety of good and QUALITY hair. She and her staff were friendly and very accommodating. She also had my hair ordered and shipped to me. Arrived much fast than expected. Thank you again for helping me find just what a needed for my wedding day!
