I like to support small businesses, especially Jamaican businesses. My diet is plantbase/vegan, and so it was difficult to find food items to purchase. I spoke to the owner and requested a special order of ackee patties. The result was amazing 👏! But most importantly, I was super impressed with how the owner Pauline researched and ensured that all ingredients were vegan. The crust was amazing and the ackee filling was delicious! Thanks you. Food/dessert didn't taste fresh. Don't think I've ever had cabbage from any Caribbean spot that wasnt sauteed/cooked. I got raw cabbage and raw carrots on the side. Curry chicken was very dry and there was no sauce with it. Won't go back or recommend.
The owner is so sweet and friendly. I liked that the desserts were not too sweet, and I enjoyed the icing on the plain cupcake. However, both the chocolate chip cookie and plain cupcake were dry, and just need more moisture in the batter. I'll be taking my brother there so he can try the food items.
The owner, Pauline is a very sweet and friendly lady. This is a nice bakery and her patties, which are her own recipe, are outstanding! I also enjoyed the sweet potato pudding and fruit cake alot!!
