Frederick Smith and his team at Sophisticated Gents are truly the Elite when it comes to entertainment. As the girls were getting hair and makeup done for my wedding they kept saying "omg it's so fun down there and the wedding hasn't even started yet!" His energy & the way he reads the crowd is mind blowing. Our dance floor was empty only once through the whole night and that was only due to plate clean up (Greek wedding OPA!) Our venue was a private residence and the neighbors were coming out of their homes and walking over because they loved the song selections and we were asked over and over for his information so our guests could book his team for any events they had. My Facebook feed was filled with captions saying "Best wedding ever" and "I've never danced so much in my life!" The day after. Frederick not only made our wedding into the best night of our lives,but an unforgettable night for our guests too and I can't say thank you enough! Fred Smith for Party President 2020! 🙌
Freddy from Sophisticated Gents facilitated our wedding! It was so much fun. We met with them in their offices in Melbourne to go over details about our event. They are very open to your ideas and accommodating to any requests you may have. The evening of our event was flawless thanks to Freddy. Professional DJ service but "FUN" is what they specialize in! Our guests were constantly out on the floor and dancing. Sophisticated Gents gets the crowds actively involved in songs, such as the Cupid Shuffle and others. Music choices were awesome and the crowds loved it. We even got to play with a "party CO2 gun" during the event! Money well spent for the entertainment that they brought! I couldn't be more happier. Working with Freddy was sooooo much fun! He was so nice and really made the day perfect! We weren’t super picky on what music to play but he knew how to read the crowd and let’s just say they don’t want the party to stop! Frederick DJ’d my wedding on 11/06 and he was FANTASTIC! He worked hard to coordinate my bridal party and transition the night to keep us on time. Working with Frederick and Jenna was the BEST part of planning my wedding. They truly care about their clients and make sure that your wedding is exactly what you want. Very reasonably priced and professional, I will definitely be recommending them to anyone planning a wedding or looking for entertainment.
Sophisticated Gents is a fantastic company and were wonderful to work with. Frederick is a phenomenal business owner, and he and his wife worked closely with my husband and I in the months and weeks leading up to our wedding. Their online portal made things very easy for us to organize the type of music and events we would like at our reception. They provided drapery and LED lights for it, which made things very easy for us as we didn’t need to go through different vendors to decorate our reception room! Frederick closely coordinated with the hotel for our reception so that we didn’t have to worry about anything on the day of our wedding, and he brought so much excitement and fun to our already joyful day! From balancing organization of events (such as toasts, cutting the cake, etc) to choosing great music that got everyone – and I mean everyone! – on the dance floor, Frederick was so excellent at it. He even bought some surprises to the reception: during our first dance as husband and wife, he used a fog machine on the dance floor which truly felt as though we were in a dream! He has the perfect energy and talent for this business, and we are so truly thankful that he coordinated our wedding reception. In short: to hire Sophisticated Gents truly guarantees that you will have an EXCELLENT event that all of your guests will enjoy. We loved working with this company and would only choose them for future parties and events.
