Omg my coworkers and I loved this place!! After we learned about the history of Sistrunk, we wanted to support a black owned business, and I heard a lot of great reviews about Smitty's, so we wanted to support it. The positive reviews were on point!! Smitty's is worth visiting, supporting & learning about the history. The food and drinks are so yummy 😋!!!!! We ordered Smitty's, Thai Chili Sweet & Lemon pepper flavor wings 😋 😋 OMG they were really good. I ordered the sweet potato fries that were fresh, and they sprinkled sugar on it. I've never had sugar on my sweet potato fries different but good! Crystal recommended trying the homemade lemonade and Smitty's lemonade mixed drink. Both drinks were delicious. I'm definitely going back for happy hour and Friday for karaoke. All the staff were friendly and professional. Crystal was our server, and she was super nice. She provided great recommendations & history about Smitty's. Also, another woman, sorry, forgot her name, but she was so nice too. She gave us a tour & and a history of the beautiful pictures on the wall. I really love learning about the history and seeing them on the wall so no one can forget, especially when the Republicans are trying to change/lie about the Black History in FL.
I love this place, it’s my new favorite restaurant in Ft. Lauderdale. Service was great, food is great and so are the drinks. I got the lunch special 6 wings with fries and a drink. I chose the sweet chili flavor for my wings, they came out great. Fries are actually seasoned an for the drink I chose the sweet tea. Everything tasted good and I also ordered the strawberry Hennessy drink 🔥 tasted good and it was strong. Overall win, I’ll be back every time I come to Ft. Lauderdale from now on.
Got 8 hot garlic Parmesean and 8 smitty wings. The smitty wings were soo good. The service was fast and the ladies were very friendly. Seems like they have a family atmosphere with good r&b music playing. I may stop here every time I drive through. The wings arr worth it.
Smitty’s Sistrunk has the best wings around! I often order through Uber Eats and have the best service and quality food. The food comes pipping hot and cooked to perfection in the type of containers you’d expect from a wing spot, giving you they ambiance. The fries are crispy and well seasoned and the small is more than enough for one or two people. The wings are DELICIOUS! I ordered the Buffalo hot this time but also recommend the lemon pepper, honey hot, garlic Parmesan, and mango habanero. The only reason I’m giving them a 4/5 is because on my last order some of my wings were small, similar to the quality of wing stop.
