Brought my acoustic guitar in for a restring and setup, turnaround was great (1 day). the guy at the counter asked me three separate times if i really wanted to put on medium gauge strings on my guitar. when getting my guitar back, I saw the strings (D’addario) are marked up here by 25%. I support local businesses..in this particular case I would have just brought my own strings in for the restring and they did not have Martin mediums in stock so the d’addarios were my second choice. the nut was not lubricated at all or not lubricated properly. For a $65 setup and restring this is should be a no brainer. I have been coming to O Di Bella for more than ten years, disappointing to see where the service and repair department has come to, especially for a local store known for their repair department.
Great local music store. I've been coming here since i was a child. They offer music lessons instrument rentals for school band and orchestra they sell instruments , like guitars and uke's as well as strings horns and Reeded instruments. They have an excellent luthier on site who has fixed my guitar on many occasions. They carry many guitar brands such as Taylor, fender, dean, ltd to name a few. They have electric pianos and electronic equipment. But the best part is they have employees who love music and have expertise in many fields of music. If you have a question they have the answer for you. Sure not as big as say guitar center but more knowledgeable than a teenage kid who knows nothing about anything. This is your go to music shop. Small local friendly experts in the field. Definitely shop here!
Very nice and helpful staff. Store is easy to find and had everything I needed. There's a great bulletin board at the entrance that is worth a look!
