I have been very concerned about my natural hair. I am sooo happy I’ve found Chevy! She had set my mind at ease. She is great! She is very knowledgeable, she took her time to explain everything to me. Very gentle! She also provided me a natural hair guide! I will be back thanks again!
Best first experience! I recently decided to do a big chop and as nervous as I was Chevy made me feel very comfortable. She gave me tips about my hair and shampoos to use and how to style it. I will be back!
I found Naturally Chevy Hair Studio last year when I moved to Tampa. I was new to the area and needed a stylist to care for my natural hair. I found Chevy through IG and Facebook and was highly satisfied. She did the most beautiful flat twist-out styles (flat twist-in) that lasted for two weeks or more and held up in the Florida heat and humidity. Not to mention that she was super gentle with washing and detangling my hair. Additionally, she was always pleasant and easy to talk to! Her private suite was also very quaint and comfortable. I have since relocated from Tampa, but when I return to visit, I will schedule an appointment with her. I will say that my only regret is not coming to Chevy more often while in Tampa and trying other services. If you are reading this review and are new or native to Tampa and looking for a Natural hairstylist and Curl Expert that will get you right and cares about natural hair, look no further!!
Book with her, immediately. I had a lifetime of bad experiences at salons to overcome in even scheduling the appointment. I was hopeful it would be good, but was resolved that hair will grow no matter what. Chevy single-handedly changed my mind. It's the first haircut that I have actually loved. Every time I walk by a mirror, I find something else I love about my hair. So glad she's in this area!
