Lisa was my stylist. Booked online which was easy. Check in and the client intake form was simple and thoughtful. They washed and conditioned my hair for my service which I really appreciated. Shampoo felt amazing and was super thorough. Braids came out great, Imma definitely be back and am recommending a friend to switch stylists to here too.
Exceptional professionalism and thorough consideration for patrons. They did an intake which included allergy documentation. I didn’t see a hydration station so bring your own water. This is a judge free, calm environment, no loud music. A movie or show is kept on for guest entertainment. The salon is very clean and welcoming. They do service children, my youngest daughter got her first trim, she is two and will be three in two months. My oldest enjoyed herself as well. I was welcomed to return the same day to get my hair completed and it wasn’t in my plans but I knew it was the right choice and they squeezed me in. All three of us got a wash, deep condition, and a trim for a great price. Thank you Courtney, Tiffany, and Rav’va! ♥️ 💓 Oh and did I mention they sanitize each chair and appliance after each use ☺️
I’ve been coming to Naturally crowned for years now. This is the only salon I go to for my naturally curly hair. Courtney is an amazing salon owner, stylist and is very knowledgeable about hair. She also has up to date equipment and is constantly introducing new techniques in her salon. Courtney is always booked but I trust the 2nd tier stylist to do my hair also because I know Courtney is very selective in the staff she hires. I also like the fact that you can book your appointment online and all the prices are listed on her website. If your thinking about trying naturally crowned you should!
This was my second time at this establishment and probably won't be going back. They charged me tier 2 prices for a tier 1 stylist because of a change in their price policy.... I got half feed in brains and half sew in and my track has been showing in the back of my head since I got it done. Not only that, some of my tracks have started to come out. I got the same hairstyle done the first time I came by a different stylist who is no longer there and this did not happen. Now they also charge for the detangle which I don't know how someone with natural hair can get their hair done without a detangle. They Also charged me for braiding hair this time at the very end. Even though I wasn't charged this the first time I got this style and I don't understand why this wasn't added to my original cost if that's the case. This second experience was a nickel and dime type of experience which I am not used to going to salons. I don't like giving bad reviews but I don't think it's fair as a client to pay so much money . Only for my hair to be the way it is
This was my 1st visit to this establishment and I was immediately impressed by the staffs greeting and welcoming to the Salon. My nail technician (Amaya) was very nice, friendly and beautiful I might add. I will most certainly continue to patronize the Salon Studio again. 👍🏾👍🏾
