Rented items for my wedding from L&L. Overall, it was a decent experience. The only drawbacks were that 2 of our plates were chipped and the farm house tables are wobbly. Sweetheart table was an actual table and very well made. I thought the farmhouse tables would be more sturdy but they have collapsible legs. Napkins were mauve. Everything was delivered and picked up on time. Delivery team was professional. All items were delivered, nothing was missing.
L&L was so wonderful and easy to work with for our wedding! They have a great selection of rentals (I was super pleased that we could get Lilac tablecloths for our wedding) and their team is super friendly. Everything went off without a hitch on the day of, and it was really easy to call/email to make adjustments leading up to the event. I definitely recommend using them for all events, especially weddings!!
Overall, my experience working with L&L was not a great one…they have many things they need to work on including being more transparent with cost. On multiple occasions, I requested a quote for different things only to be told I’ll have to pay extra to add additional things. An example being, tents. I talked to an employee at L&L a week before my wedding saying we were worried about rain and wanted to go ahead and get a quote for tents, after an email exchange I finally got a quote and said it looked good. He then followed up saying if we were using them for rain or wind (which is said in an earlier email) we would need to add the walls for a separate charge of $20-30 per wall. For us, we needed about 10 walls. That would have been nice to know up front rather than later…just seems to me L&L tries to hide costs until last minute. Additionally, do NOT buy or rent tables cloths from them. A 120-inch round table cloth costs $16 a piece to rent not including an additional charge if you get wax on it or damage it (they are not up front with what “damage” includes). We bought all of our tables cloths from Amazon which came out cheaper per table cloth compared to their rental costs (and we own them). We even got complimented by an L&L employee when they went to pick up the rentals thinking the round table cloths were theirs. They also charge an additional amount for setup/break down per chair and table, but then didn’t even setup our cocktail tables (the only table cloths we did not buy ourselves because of the nature of the table). We had to figure out how to tie the table cloth ourselves so it looked decent. Overall, they were a stressful vendor to work with and I would recommend going with a different rental company if you can.
L&L was easy to work with. We used them for our wedding in February. We were able to change our numbers and items multiple times without any complaints on their end. We did end up having to pay for a tablecloth replacement. The tablecloth appeared to have a burn hole in it but we didn’t have any open flames, so I am not sure how that happened. But overall a great experience!
Out of all the vendors we worked with for our wedding, L&L was hands down our favorite!! Cynthia and Sheri were amazing - so sweet and accommodating! I was making so many last-minute requests close to our wedding and they made everything work. I highly recommend working with L&L you will not regret it!
