I am beyond impressed with the quality, affordable, and accessible services I have received from Joyner's School of Music, especially the professionalism and kindness of the owner Irma. She is very hands on every step of the way. As a full-time working mom of 3 young children and business owner, I don't have a lot of free time. She was willing to work around my schedule and offer late afternoon piano lessons as well as virtual voice lessons. Living on the Westside of Jacksonville it is extremely difficult to find educational support for children, however we have been blessed to find the support we needed, and I don't have to venture too far from home. My children are learning so much from their instructor Mr. Caleb who is providing them with a solid foundation and challenging them at the same time. This is a much-needed service for our community.
Mrs. Joyner is an excellent instructor. In my time working with her, she was always professional and caring. She guided me through sight reading, ear training, and staying on key while maintaining my breath control. I learned several different types of vocal techniques and warm ups as well. Mrs. Joyner keeps the lessons both fun and educational. I have gained more confidence and greatly improved in my vocal abilities from working with her. I highly recommend working her!
I absolutely love the school and instructors! And I love The Joyner’s. They are very professional and very patient and encouraging. My daughter needed assistance with reading music and understanding notes to audition for a school of the arts. They really sat down and took their time explaining and showing her how to accomplish the task so she could feel confident in her abilities when auditioning. After she had a few sessions with them, she was able to successfully audition and it definitely increased her confidence which increased her ability to play. I’m so appreciative of the support they displayed to her. Their professionalism they displayed is unmatched!
Joyner's School of Music is simply the best. My son enjoys his Jam Sessions with the school. We are looking forward for future classes with Joyner's School of Music. The school has been such a blessing to our family. -P. MBA
