there are a lot of spots in this neighborhood with incredible jerk chicken but this is somethin else. the sauce has a little bit of a honey flavor, great texture and the chicken melts in your mouth
This place is such a gem. Their jerk chicken and Mac and cheese is the best!!
Great and affordable meals, Jerk Chicken, peas and rice, mac and cheese, etc. My favorite is their soups, the best ever!
First: food is really good. Second: if you are caucasian, don't bother to go. I moved to area in 2009 and went there many times, but my last visit was 3 years ago. That evening as usual after work I stoped by for jerk chicken, store was empty. I asked guy behind the counter for 3 pieces of chicken. He didn't even acknowledge me. He was reading something, as soon as african-american dude walked in, guy got up, greeted him and served him food. At that point I got the message and left the store. You don't want my money, I will spend somewhere else. I passing store every day, not planning to go there anytime soon. But if you are tempted to try food, it's delicious. Good luck.
Great food. The jerk is a favorite of my godmother. I have been delegated to get some on every visit. Has become one of my favorites as well.
