I never post negative reviews. But in this case I had to. I don't want anyone else to go through this experience. I originally requested a wash and go with a trim but asked for the taper of my hair to be touched up along with some twists. My appointment was with the owner but I was passed to someone else (last minute). My hair was not washed or stretched/detangled before it was cut. Unfortunately it seems that they do not specialize in natural hair COMPLETELY. Maybe braiding but NOT cutting,trimming, styling. Although the owner did not do my hair, I think it shows a lack of integrity to leave a FIRST time client with someone that inexperienced. And then charge $100+. I'm so disappointed. BUT after posting the review, the owner was gracious enough to fix my hair and it looks so good! She also ensured that I was fully refunded for the prior situation.(Think of the first pictures as the before and the second half as after.) She really cares about her craft.Thank you again for your time and attention!
I got a silk press from Mrs. Monique. She is awesome and everyone there is as well. Very cute shop. The vibe is amazing… results are the real deal💯
Beauty Braids and Beyond was just what I was looking for in a salon! Mo is not only warm and welcoming but she is incredibly knowledgeable about her trade and the community she works in. I am a teacher and mom with an incredibly tight schedule. Monique truly went above and beyond to get me in and accomplish my style in a timely manner. I left feeling better than I have in years! I am excited to have her and her team continue to care for my locs. Monique is a true gem in our community and so is her team!
U just want to say thank you doing my hair today I felt so much love and we talked listen to some good music and Marquette she was amazing and the owner was very polite and very friendly I will be coming back again thank you all for everything have a wonderful blessed evening
Took my granddaughter to have her hair braided. The shop and people were very professional. The process did not take as long as I expected. The lady that braided her and all employees were very nice.
