Ordered twice from this restaurant and both times I was dissapointed with the food. Pricing is fine but the taste is poor I can cook much better than what I paid for. I ordered the stew snapper and it was awful, tasted undercooked, hardly any seasoning, bag was full of gravy and messy everywhere. Not even the fried sweet plaintains tastes good and it’s hard to mess those up.
I'm so happy we stopped here to try the food. Everything was sooo good and delicious. We had the stewed chicken with rice and peas, tostonies and mac and cheese and all the dishes were packed full of favor. This meal truly reminded me of home and I havent been able to find a place like this since I left Miami. Im so grateful for the experience. The whole meal I had a smile on my face.
Doesnt look like much from outside but the food is amazing. People are super friendly there, service was great. All the food is made to order, and is one of my top resturaunts with the best Caribbean food. I had the fried pork with sweet potatoes slices and sweet bananas. The lemonade is super sweet, maybe a little too sweet. The food though, awsome!!!!
This restaurant is what we call a hole in the wall. Small and doesn't look like much but the most wonderful food. The owner is really nice and very helpful if you have any questions. They even let us have samples of things we weren't too sure about. Order and pickup at the window. Plenty of outdoor seating and the indoor seating is pretty good for the size of the restaurant. The meat pastries/patties are really good and a great value. The rice was very flavorful. I also recommend the guava lemonade. Our four kids age 6 to 13 loved it.
We stopped by Fify's on the way back from the tickseed bloom in Pepper Ranch Preserve. We bought the reg. size fried pork and turkey plates with pikliz, yuca, plantains, rice and peas. Friendly staff and the food is made to order. Worth the small wait for big flavors. I bought some pikliz to take home.
