I wanted to do something different and exciting. An evening boat ride was just the thing. I was super scared...lol, but Captain Sean did his thing and assured us that we were in good hands. We saw dolphins, toured our city on the water, and saw the most beautiful sunset. Definitely a 10/10.
For better or worse another's experience may vary....I had family in town and decided to book a boat ride with Captain Sean and his wife Dannie for a birthday celebration. They went above and beyond to make us comfortable and make the occasion special. They supplied some essentials and made the boat ride fun, safe and special. Music, food, and did I say fun?!...will definitely make the ride again. Pro tip-google maps took us to a home address but follow the sign to the boat ramp on e you get to Ortega farms
The 2-hour group cruise was for my fiancé's birthday. We started at one dock with pre-selected songs, balloons, and a special message for him. After safety training, we collected the rest of our group at another doc and started the party. We cruised, danced, and laughed along the St. Johns River until sunset, whereupon we popped champagne glasses and toasted before placing our locks in the Friendship Fountain. Master Captain Sean addressed all 100 of my inquiries promptly and professionally. Even before booking, he made suggestions to tie things together. He also provided glasses, ice, wine, smores, popcorn, hot cocoa, non-alcoholic beverages, and was our DJ. He was thrilled with his birthday. Captain Sean, you are kind and generous. You helped me surprise my honey and I thank you. We loved the result! The atmosphere was fantastic and well worth the money. We will be back! Oh!!! He also acted as our photographer/ videographer 🤯
My wife and I really enjoyed our time out on the water with Capt. Sean. The weather was nice and it made for an awesome cruise. We took a day appointment which gave us an opportunity to see the dolphins. Capt Sean was professional, courteous and accommodating. We definitely look forward to booking with Cheapskate Adventures again in the near future.
Sean was a really amazing host and paid such great attention to our every need. He was really accommodating to any scheduling issues and communication was awesome. Definitely would do again and recommend to anyone wishing to see the city from the river!
