Went during happy hour sat down right away, got drinks pretty quick also. The bread was fresh! For the appetizers we had beef Wellington Caesar salad and the crab cocktail which was all delicious. The main course was the chaz 51 ribeye with a baked potato. It was one of the best ribeyes and baked potatoes I have had. Every bite of the baked potato wasn't dry. Tasted like butter throughout. No words to express how good the rib eye was, cooked perfectly, the taste was 🤌🤌🤌🤌. I definitely will be back!!
Delicious steak cooked to perfection. The best I've had in quite some time. Very accommodating staff for a large, rowdy adult birthday party. Great jazz quartet. My spouse is a good cook so I'm usually underwhelmed when I dine out. I've only eaten there once but I'm not afraid to recommend it.
Food was ok. Service was great. My medium steak was medium rare and then medium. The blue cheese topping was not my favorite either. This place was more expensive than for instance an Outback or a Longhorn. I went with 5 other people and 3 people had good food and 2 didn't according to each one I asked. I was not a fan of the Parmesan crusted chicken either. I did like my French onion soup though.
I just discovered Chaz51 on FB after someone posted about their Summer Special and boy was I impressed. We had the 3 Course Meal - Chaz Jerk Chicken and Broiled Salmon. Portion sizes were ideal and the flavors were "on point". Observe in the pic the Caribbean Fishbowl cocktail drink...it was perfect! Huge recommend and I'll be returning before the Summer Special expires in October 😋🔥. The only thing that they may need to "tweak" is the time spent waiting for one's meal. This is definitely a Venice Steakhouse treasure.
We had a lovely first visit to Chaz 51. The coconut balsamic was delicious on the house salad. The Key Lime Martini was amazing! Two of us had the Filet and they said it was some of the best steak they have ever had. Finished up with the white chocolate bread pudding which was phenomenal! As others said, it's not a quick meal, so go with friends and family and enjoy your time together.
