I received my box braids from Gladys, and she was amazing. She was not heavy handed, she handled my natural hair with care, and she was warming as a person. This being my first time getting braids, she made me feel comfortable upon entering the salon. The salon also has a variety of hair to choose from, which was helpful for a first timer! There happened to be another braider there and because it was a slow day, they both worked on my braids which cut the time down by half! Great place, and highly recommend.

Doing my hair at Musa Braids and Weaves was a very wonderful experience. The two braid stylists that worked on my hair were very gentle with my hair. The owner Ms. Gladys is really sweet and has an amazing personality. I was really comfortable during the whole process. I looked very beautiful when my hair was done. I would recommend this hair braiding salon to any one that wants to get their hair braided professionally.
I was actually late an hour and dispite my tardiness she got me in and out in no time! I have very thick hair and a lot of hair. She was very gentle on my sensitive and tender scalp. She adjusted the braids when they were to tight. She has lots of beautiful and natural colors to choose from too! The quality is so amazing that I plan to ask for her to do my hair for my wedding! Worth every penny.
My 1st time coming to Musa, and it definitely won't be my last time.. My natural hair is thick and goes past my shoulders. I was in the chair by 4:15pm and home before 7pm! The quickest braids I have ever had. Gladys was able to squeeze me in because I wanted braids before going on vacation.. Quick, efficient and very pleasant. I will be going back again.. I got medium box braids..
