This is a great place, a comfort place, the service was ight. The only thing I didn't like was, they forgot I ordered, and I was there 30 minutes waiting on livers and onions, so I just dined in
Quick wasting your time at Applebees and Cracker Barrel’s. This is the best soul food I have ever tried, and you can’t beat the price for how much you get. I had the Mac n cheese, candied yams, and BBQ chicken. The Mac n cheese was seasoned perfectly and super cheesy. Candied yams weren’t just a knock you out sweet flavor like other places- but had a depth, you can tell a lot of thought, love, and effort go into every dish they are serving. The BBQ chicken also had an amazing flavor but fell right off the bone melt in your mouth style. Also loved the style of how you receive the food, rather than a menu you get to see all the food options right in front of you & build your own plate. I went back for seconds & will be returning to Florida specifically to come here.
This is the best food Ive ordered through UberEats. I was fresh, hot and delicious. I ordered the fried chicken dinner with yams, yellow rice and cabbage. The chicken was crispy and perfectly cooked! Everything was perfectly seasoned as well! Had the lemon pound cake..OMG it was wonderful. Thank you!
We stopped by on the way home from a road trip. I got the Sunday dinner which is 3 sides and 2 meats. It was a huge portion, enough to share with my 10 year old picky eater. Everything was delicious. They have a buffet style set up so you can see all the food as is it prepared for you. The ordering process was quick and easy. All meals are packed to go but The inside is very clean and spacious and we were able to sit down and eat. I also had the peach cobbler. It was a little (extra) sweet for my taste but i was able to eat it. I felt the pricing was fair for the variety and portions offered. Definitely worth the stop.
We typically get the food via delivery and the food is always hot, the portions are always great and the food taste amazing. My wife and I thoroughly enjoy the fried and baked chicken especially. Eventually we’ll get around to eating there but the delivery is so convenient.
