I have been coming here since I was 6 years old, I am now 20 and have never had a problem until now. Of course I know my hair needed to be washed and I was fine with it. The lady doing my hair found the smallest comb on my thick hair to comb my hair out. When I complained about her pulling my hair out she got mad at me. Then it was time to wash it; not one drop of water got on my head. My clothes were soaking wet and the lady completely disregarded me when I told her I no longer wanted her to do my hair! I am very disappointed
Absolutely HORRIBLE. SERVICE IS HORRIBLE. THIS IS MY HAIR AFTER 1 week and two days. The lady that did my hair didn't tuck my hair well enough and the hair they used was dirty. As you can see my scalp is RED because it literally felt like it was on fire for a whole week. When I called about my hair hoping for it to be fixed or a refund in return the owner only offered to fix half of my hair which doesn't make any sense because my WHOLE HEAD IS MESSED UP. I asked for a refund in return and she said no. When I went the shop to confront her respectfully they (her & her employees ) all ganged up on me. Her customers on the other hand were agreeing with me and telling them that they were wrong. Never again!
Worse braiding experience of my life. The owner’s daughter is rude and disrespectful. My appointment was at 9 am and I didn’t get serviced until 10:30 am. My hair was not finished until 7:30 pm. I was cursed out by the owners daughter and Iesha because I mention Princesses Hair Braiding to another customer. I would not recommend this shop to anyone.
This place is absolutely amazing!!! I have short 4c hair and no one in Maryland said they could braid it until my friend recommend Amy Exotic Hair braiding!. They do amazing hair all day everyday. Every time I get my hair done here I see a customer walk out happy. If you’re in the Dmv and you need a great hair braider , Amy is where you go.
I love Amy exotic hair shop , i recently just got done some nice knotless butt length braids . The braiding technique is overall so amazing and i love it there . The staff was honestly so nice and i always go back . These braids make me feel more like myself again andi love it . I rate my experience overall a 10/10 i even got offered food
