Chuck Carroll with Ace Entertainment was responsive and professional during the time leading up to our wedding day. I was confident that Chuck was going to be up to my expectations during our ceremony as well as my reception. We had several conversations as to what my husband and I excepted that day prior to the wedding day. For the ceremony Chuck was on point with all of his cues and what was to be played. Fast forward to cocktail hour he was asked to change the style of music he was playing because that is not what the bride and groom had requested. That continued on for the rest of the evening. Chuck missed SEVERAL cues leading into the reception. The first one being our introduction song, we were halfway down the entrance before our song played. The second missed cue; after being introduced we went right into our first dance.. my husband and I stood in the middle of the dance floor in silence before he started playing our first dance song for almost 1 minute. During dinner I had to ask my wedding coordinator to go and have several conversations with Chuck to change the style of music he was playing because once again it was nothing the groom and I had requested. We had a younger crowd more so than older and all Chuck was playing was covers of songs or older songs that majority of the guests did not know. After dinner our guests gathered around to take a huge photo together and Chuck was aware of this from the very beginning he was to immediately play music after the photo was taken to get everyone dancing. Instead of doing that he started speaking in the microphone saying “shots everyone”. Going into dancing for the reception Chuck gave attitude to people requesting songs and even questioned me as the Bride when I made a song request. Chuck continued to play really what he wanted to hear throughout the first half of the night. I feel as if he was more so worried about getting drinks for him and his assistant all night at our open bar rather than providing excellent entertainment that he was hired for.
We booked Chuck for our wedding and he was super great to work with every step of the way. He was friendly and professional every time we talked. His online portal makes it super easy to pick songs for our event. He made sure all our must play songs were scattered though the night and kept the dance party going. Definitely recommend booking Chuck for any event.
Dj at my son's wedding. Great DJ voice but .... he AND his date helped themselves to the open bar SEVERALtimes, missed every planned cue, didn't play music as planned and requested by bride and groom.

Chuck was great right from the start. My wife and I were planning our wedding long before the COVID problem began. We scheduled Chuck as our DJ and began working out details with him. His friendliness was apparent from the first phone call and never lessened. We explained to him how important it was for the entertainment/music at our reception to be wholesome, family friendly, and non-suggestive. Chuck understood completely and assured us that our request won’t be a problem. He instructed us how to update our profile online and how and when to make payments. When COVID struck the U.S. we obviously had to reschedule. Chuck, thankfully, was more than understanding and made sure he was available for us no matter what – we were a priority. Chuck even met with us before our event to finalize all the details. Everything went perfectly: the music, the announcements, and everything Chuck was responsible for. Many of our guest complimented the taste of music and enjoyed the entertainment. If we have another event requiring a DJ, Chuck is who we are hiring.
