I searched for a new lash place when I moved here and found Ink Beauty Bar. I have had several lash lifts over the years so I am very familiar with the after care process and have never experienced this before... My first lash lift was good and lasted a pretty long time. My second lash lift was absolutely awful! I messaged Cristine the following morning when I noticed my lashes still didn't look right. My lashes are long so the correct size lash pad or rod needs to be used to get the proper swoop. It looked like my lashes were curled on a small lash rod so they were over curled and some of the ends looked fried. She asked for pictures so I provided those and I even offered to stop by the salon so she could see in person. She completely stopped responding to me after I sent the follow-up messages. Extremely unprofessional and horrible customer service. I later found out from a lash tech at a different salon that my lashes were over-processed. I would not recommend this business.
I cannot recommend Christine enough. I came to her with literally NO eyebrow hair because I am on chemo. With Stage 4 Breast Cancer it is so hard to feel pretty...I have lost my breasts, hair on my head, my lashes and eyebrows. I can deal with no eyelashes or head hair but I wanted eyebrows to feel pretty and feminine. Christine designed the perfect brows that look like actual hairs!!! I did lose a lot after the first application I think a lot of that was because my chemo effected it but she did the normal touch up and they look AMAZING!!! I look like the "old me" again. The shop is so PRETTY and CLEAN!!!! She plays very relaxing instrumental music and the experience there is very calming.. On top of all that...Christine is a kind and sweet person!! I highly recommend her.
Disappointing service and results. After weeks of researching I chose Ink Beauty Bar because of the amazing reviews. Sadly, my experience was anything but. I got an eyelash lift for the very first time with Cristine and she did a terrible job. My eyelashes are naturally long so they just needed to be lifted but after the service they were falling back down in less than 24 hours. I followed the after care directions perfectly and even followed up with Cristine. I sent her pictures to see if there was anything she could do to enhance the lift but she ignored my email, and follow-up email. Terrible customer service and waste of money. Will not be returning.
This was my first time using Ink Beauty Bar. I was researching for a while for places to get lash lifts until I found Ink Beauty Bar. I actually traveled 1 hour to this place because the reviews were so good and wanted to make sure I went to a place I could trust. I need to say that from the minute I walked in I was not disappointed. Caprice greeted me with a smile and warm welcome and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole appointment. I also need to mention that my lashes never looked better after my lift and tint. I scheduled a follow up appointment before I left. I will not go to any other place from now on! I went and got a lash lift and tint with Cristine. Overall, I am pleased with how my lashes look however, there are a few things I would have like done differently. I shared that it was my first time and although Cristine was super sweet I would have loved for her to have walked me through the process in detail as she was completing the service. My lashes are definitely lifted but I do not believe the tint was necessary. I have naturally black eyelashes and imagined that the tint would have made them appear darker, however I do not notice that much of a difference. I wish she would have shared that since my lashes were dark enough already it might not be necessary and I would have only stuck with the lash lift. At the end, she did explain that if I get them done in the winter that the tint would not be necessary. I just would have liked more consultation around the tint prior to the service since it was my first time. Overall, the studio was extremely clean, everyone was very friendly, and my lashes do look different in terms of them being lifted (not darker).
