For years I have struggled with ingrown toenails. This made it difficult to get pedicures because nail techs would try to fix my ingrown nail and usually just made the problem worse. I would leave the salon with bleeding and swollen cuticles, and sometimes even had painful infections. Even though I enjoyed getting pedicures, I started to avoid getting them because of this issue. Then a friend encouraged me to book an appointment with Gemini Studios, and I am SO grateful that I did! Owner Erin Jackson is a registered nurse with decades of experience and is incredible at what she does. Erin is extremely knowledgable and has created effective services and treatments that help restore health to the nails and skin. Erin creates a calm and welcoming environment for clients, and the salon is always comfortable and pristine! During my first appointment I told Erin about my toenail concerns, and she suggested a few solutions. She discussed the option of inserting an ingrown toenail brace on a toe I had issues with, and even gave me a pamphlet about the BS brace service. By the time Erin answered all my questions and walked me through the service step by step (including info on aftercare), I was ready to try it! Along with a relaxing waterless pedicure, Erin also inserted a brace on the nail that I requested. The brace application was mostly painless and only took a few minutes to apply. The day after my service, Erin checked in with me over text to make sure that I did not have any pain or bruising around the area where the brace was inserted. I had absolutely no pain from the brace, and in the following weeks I was instructed to monitor how the brace was working for me. I soon noticed that the brace was improving the shape and growth process of my nail. After my first session with Erin I already felt so much improvement. I rebooked with Gemini Studios and will keep coming back! Erin's expertise, professionalism and care for her clients is unmatched. I found my forever nail salon! The ambience of The Gemini Studio is so welcoming. Before I made my appointment I contacted the salon and I spoke with the owner Erin. She was so nice and suggested which services would work best for my needs. Upon arrival I we were greeted at the door with a welcoming spirit and our private rooms were already prepared. I love that this salon promotes healthy nails and they offer waterless pedicures. My nail tech Marika was amazing! She answered all of my questions and did an amazing job on my healthy nails pedicure and manicure. Additionally this is a black and female owned business!
I've been going to The Gemini Studio for a few months now. Erin is wonderful. She has helped me with my ingrown toenail issues. Erin is professional, educated about her craft and specialty and a pleasure to be around. I've found my favorite nail salon!
This was my very first time getting a waterless pedicure. Whitney at The Gemini Studio is very knowledgeable and professional. They perform regular Mani and Pedi procedures as well as medical nail restoration procedures!
I Absolutely love going to Gemini studios. The atmosphere is very pleasant & the Tech is amazing and Informational. Thanks to Erinn, my Ingrown toenail went away with no problem.
