I finally was in the area when they were open. Their basil ginger lemonade is so good! I first had it at the Snellville Farmers Market. Then I decided to try the fried oyster sandwich and it was HUGE! It was super good. I got a side of Mac n cheese and that was pretty darn good. Next time I'll get some sweets, I've had them before so I know they are good!
I’m gonna start with the positive side of things. The seasoning on the fries is delicious! The homemade ranch is very tasty. The establishment is clean! However the advertisement on the window states everything made from scratch and this is a vegan restaurant. I asked if the fries were made from an actual Idaho potato cut into crinkle cuts and was told yes. Otherwise I despise frozen processed crinkle fries and would have passed. I recommend cutting real potatoes and doing everything else that you already do and they’ll be 5 stars and the cost savings to make that change won’t increase.
Bought a 8” double layer cake for my sons 20th. It was delicious!!! Moist, you could taste the fresh ingredients and tasted wonderful! And I was pleased to be purchasing from a black-owned bakery. Loved it! My first time and it will not be our last!
I needed a birthday cake for my 2 year old who has dairy and nut allergies. Shawnee accomodated us and was able to take our order and have it ready before the party. Not only did she make the cake dairy and nut free but the colorful icing that she used had dye from natural sources. The cake was delicious and everyone at the party agreed! My baby was able to enjoy her first piece of cake. Shawnee was also pleasantly nice to talk to and had great customer service. I will be ordering more cakes in the future!
I really like Shawnee's Goodies Vegan Bakery & Cafe. I like that the food is Vegan, especially the desserts :-) I stop by on Sundays after church for my delicious dessert. My special is the Red Velvet Vegan Cake. Happy Customer.
