I came to Kelly on 6/29 for a custom dress to attend a wedding, that I needed to have by 8/17. We agreed on a price that I was happy to pay. Kelly provided the material as well. This is where it all went wrong. On 8/8 she informed me that she ran out of material for the most important part of the dress, a dramatic 3 layer puffy fishtail look. She tried to use some alternative material samples that just didn’t match at all. So I tried to compromise, I asked her if she had enough material left to do a less dramatic look 1 flat layer at the bottom. I didn’t want a Mitch match dress. She said yes. I then asked for a price reduction, $30-$40 because the material or labor was way less than the original look and she refused. I’m not the one to bash anybody, the work that she did so far was good. I can’t spend my money with someone who refused to negotiate especially when they are at fault. I refused the dress and told her to keep the down payment which was half and took my loss. My advice is that if you use her, purchase your own material so that you won’t be without a dress and $115 loss.
Loved shopping here. I was looking for a special outfit for a date night. Kelly was super helpful and knowledgeable about the types of outfits that would look good on me. I bought a 2pc pantsuit with a lace bodysuit. My husband absolutely loved my outfit and I looked awesome in it. Will definitely be back to get a few more outfits I saw that I liked.
Wow, great shopping place, "Sew Me Crazy Boutique" has such a wonderful variety for all kinds of styles and sizes that'll fit most people. As a matter of fact, I've got to get back over to that shop, so I can buy this sweat shirt, that's so cute. Maybe I'll see you their!
