I attended a party during the CBC. The space is so beautiful. I loved the ornate chairs. I felt like I had entered a castle. Really stunning entertainment, and the DJ kept us moving. The Jamaican cuisine was delicious. Glad I got a chance to experience Sax.
Had a ball for my girlfriends bday party this past Sunday. So much so that we are headed back for another bday Cele next month!!
I love going to this place at least once every two months. This is one of my favorite places in DC but I don’t go a lot because I alone and kinda shy. 🙈 I will invite anyone who wants to go with me. Like my review and I will send you a request. Best regards and best wishes. Keep it up Sax.
I went to an event at Sax on this past Friday August 11th for the Hip Hop theme party. I celebrated my friend birthday and brought a table and bottle service. The event beige ticket did not specify good details. The event promoter Terry Fraiser never returned any of my calls. Food: is not that great. They are selling curry food but if not well seasoned at all. The chef looked exhausted and ran out of cabbage and no discounts or substitutions. Valet Parking is shady. They do not give you a ticket anyone can pick up your car. The floor manager/security( not sure what his role was but he as acting like it) was so mean to me. He was standing and posted up in front of the kitchen door way. He is a short white guy with black hair. He was so rude and on edge. He needs some training on customer service and how to talk to people on a professional level. The front desk workers were professional and amazing that night. So nice!!
I went the night of the September 30th/Oct1st with a friend. We both enjoyed the atmosphere and service. Unfortunately we had to leave a little early. A member of their staff ....Gordon...was professional and hospitable. 5 stars.
