I had booked tickets for Costa Rica not knowing that my passport was about to be expired. Called 2 weeks prior to travel date and an appointment was set 2 days before we flew out. Everyone was amazing to work with, very friendly, and had my passport in my hand 2 hours after my appointment!!! Highly recommend this agency π
Great place, like other reviews said, it is very efficiently run. Make sure you have an appointment though before you go. The gal that helped me out there named Brandy was an angel! Went above and beyond to help me get my children their passports in time for our upcoming trip. She did everything she could to ensure that and was super friendly and kind. I cannot thank her enough!
I didn't find out my passport had expired until the night before our international flight. It was completely my fault. I immediately filled out an application and made plans to go to the address I found online. Don't go to the address you find online. Go to the address listed here on Google. I drove to one location and was told the passport office hadn't been there in years. They gave me another address and that location said the same thing. Then I finally found the correct address. Like some of the other reviewers, I went to the office thinking I could get a same day appointment by walking in. I was turned away by the security guards and told to call the 877#. I stood outside and called that # for hours. Longstory short, I got an appointment at 11:30 am on the second day of calling. I was finished by 12:00 pm and told to return at 2:00 pm to pick up my passport. I got my passport at 3:45 pm. The security guards are helpful. Don't get upset with them that there are no walk in appointments. The agency is very organized and this was a way better option than paying several hundred dollars for a company to do this for you. My advice is that if your passport is expired and you are traveling in less than two weeks (in my case one day), call your congressman/congresswoman. One of things they can do is get you an appointment. If that doesn't work, keep calling the 877#. My other piece of advice is to have all of your paperwork done, including your passport photo. I thought I could get my photo done inside like I've done at other passport offices, but they don't do that there. I walked down the street one block and there is a coffee shop on the corner that does passport photos (I got my photo done while I was still on hold). Supervisor Jones, if you are reading this, thank you!
I had the best experience at my local agency! Donβt listen to the bad reviews, thatβs only for people who donβt have an appointment. YOU NEED AN APT TO WALK IN. My sister and I were able to get an appointment 4 days before our flight. We arrived at 7:14 and my appointment was at 9 am. We made the line (it was not long) and they let everyone early in at 7:30. Make sure you have your confirmation code ready for the security guard to see it. Anyways, the staff is so professional and nice. They are just trying to help everyone and get it quickly done. I finished all paper work before 8 am and was told to come back at 11:30 for pickup. I went to eat and walk around so be prepared to wait and distract yourself to wait for pickup. Came back and my passport was ready! I appreciate the workers and security guards. Great agency!
Absolute Lifesavers, and so efficient! Have to fly in 6 days, family emergency. I made an appointment on the phone for noon today. Arrived early at 11:25. It's now 11:57 and I'm in my car about to drive an hour home. I found parking on the street one black away. I'm not going to wait, paid the $19.95 to have it shipped 2 day. ππβοΈππ thx Angel at desk 13 π Fast, easy, so RELIEVED!!!
