I went to Lickety Split on a recommendation and I wasn't disappointed. The establishment was clean and quaint and there was plenty of seating even though they were quite busy. The menu items were easy and clear and I thoroughly enjoyed what I had. It was HOT in there but that had to be because it was hot outside, the windows were floor to ceiling and the people were bustling through. Let's crank up the AC next time! Overall I'd visit again!
Our friends brought us here and raved about the food. We decided to try it. Everything we tried was absolutely DELICIOUS! The service was excellent as well. Only complaint, it was extremely hot inside the restaurant. Not sure if the air conditioner wasn’t working. We will definitely patronize this establishment again and will be recommending it to our friends.
Ms. Love showed us some love at the bar while eating our meal. 5 star southern food at its best. Entree were fried pork chop and fried catfish. Sides were cabbage and smoke turkey, collard greens, Mac and cheese, black eyed peas. Didn’t get a picture of the honey lemon wings but they were on point. If staying local for a flight or just in town give them a try. You want be disappointed.
EVERYTHING that I tried was delicious. The turkey wings and yellow rice are really good as well as the grilled chicken! The yams amazing! Shrimp and chicken skewer also a must try. Will return. I have to come visit the store in person.
This was my first time visiting. The food came out hot. I ordered the shrimp and chicken kabobs with yellow rice. My chicken was a little dry, however it was seasoning well. I was surprised to see that gratuity was added to my check even though I ate in and picked up my own plate from the counter. I did not appreciate this information not being disclosed to me as I was also asked at checkout if I wanted to include gratuity. Seating is limited.
