Our family would not recommend buying a vehicle from here. We purchased a suburban from there in January… shortly after we noticed something was off… we took it in while under their warranty and it came back citing nothing was wrong with it. Shortly after we took it back again… and it was shared it would need a new front wheel bearing, however it was no longer under warranty. We ended up taking it to a different mechanic to replace it because the estimate to fix it at Fitzgerald was WAY more than any other place. Since then, we have had to replace a rear trunk opening mechanism, the BCM, the battery, AND the starter…. All on a 2018 less than 50K mile car. (Again- All work has been done elsewhere due to the higher estimates from Fitzgerald) We contacted the dealership to try and discuss these issues multiple times and they were either less than helpful and/or no calls or emails were returned. Please, we ask that before you state that you have no record of these attempted communications- we do. I assure you they are there. All in all… if you decide to purchase from there- please make sure your vehicle feels right…. We really feel like we bought a lemon from them, the financial and emotional toll has been a lot on our family, and they have been less than helpful.
Avoid the Chevrolet service center. They are extremely deceptive and predatory. Even if you know your stuff they are not willing to properly assist you. There are way more honest mechanics in Frederick that do deserve your time and money who will be much more respectful and helpful to you. I drive a 2015 Chevy Cruze. I had reported a P0004 code for them to check out which is "Fuel volume regulator control circuit high". Chris Hahn(service advisor) straight up said no such code even exists, which is an out right lie. He went on to tell me I needed a new catalytic converter which they wanted to charge $2,800 for. Mind you, my cat was JUST replaced. Once I called them out on this he went onto admit the P0004 code does exist but that's just not the code that their "master" technician pulled. He tried to tell me only an OEM cat would work but not an after market cat. Which is false. After no conclusion even after talking to the manager Chris Wilson, they wouldn't even do me the courtesy of resetting my engine light as I requested. Charged me $115 for no service, on top of disrespecting me.
Sadly extremely disappointed with proficiency within the company. The company has amazing staff ,they are all extremely friendly but with that said they are extremely inefficient . I was gifted my first vehicle after high school by my grandmother. At the time she accidentally wrote my husband's last name (we do not share the same last name) with my first name instead of my legal last name. I explain this to sales associate and was assured that the title would not be an issue going forward with selling to Fitzgerald Auto. That was not at all correct. And no one on the team including the manager Said that this would be an issue coming up. I go home thinking that I will be picking up a check in the morning. I give them a call and they're still waiting to hear about the chec. I give them another call 2 hours later and I'm notified that to go forward with the sale. I will have to drive back out to the dealership, get the paperwork that I had given to them. Bring it to the MVA and Pay $100 to the MvA, to then go back to the dealership to then sell the car. This should have been common knowledge with employees and if not employees, especially the manager who was on floor... in the end I didn't sell my car. I now have to go back out to get my vehicle and also pick up my marriage certificate that they needed to hold on to for the information that they should have very well known.. extremely friendly people. But they will waste your time and money if you allow them ...
I had an excellent experience from beginning to end with the team at the Fitzgerald. I would specifically like to call out Adriana Rodriguez (my sales representative) for being responsive, courteous, professional, and pleasant to work with. Next, I would like to recognize Jason Butts (Manager) for carrying great service through, by supporting some of my extra needs during the sales process. Lastly, I would like to recognize Ron Parsons - Head Manager, for assisting with some continuation questions and resolutions I had pre and post-sale. It is no wonder the team is as great as they are with people like Ron leading the way. Great job. I highly recommend these individuals to anyone seeking to purchase a used car for a loved one (like I was) and needs to ensure you are getting an excellent machine for a fair price.
I purchased my car there and always service there. I am giving it a 4 star, for the clean environment, coffee bar at your service, service quite costly. You do not always meet the friendliest people but its fine. But particularly at my last visit I was attended by a manager Mr.Morven Beverly who is an excellent person. A big thanks for his professionalism!
