This is such a good bakery!! I needed a cake for my boyfriend’s birthday. He asked for a coconut cake and I thought since we were going to the beach to celebrate, a beach themed cake would be cute. CEG Bakery went above and beyond. They had amazing customer service as well as consistent communication. They designed it perfectly and it came out really cute. Another important aspect was the taste, it was so good! The cake itself was very moist and the buttercream was perfect as it was the perfect amount of sweetness. It had a great coconut taste. I’m extreme impressed and would highly recommend. If I need any other cakes anytime soon, I know where to go. Thank you CEG bakery!!!
I am so grateful for CEG bakery. They are simply the BEST!!! Through the holidays, birthdays and family gatherings they keep our bellies smiling. My 5 year old loves the cupcakes and they made her bday so special. She loves to pass CEG Bakery and say cupcakes!! Thanks for taking care of my family and adding your special love to our moments.
Beautiful cakes with unique design and European influence! We were very impressed by their dark forest cake for my mother’s 70th birthday that was made with fresh raspberries (per our request), finished with Swiss butter cream and presented with an amazing design! You can trust these ladies with your special occasion. They will listen to your every request!
Over three weeks before my birthday, I paid $130 for a cake with red roses, white roses with pink edges, and leaves. Both colors I received were not what I chose, along with missing leaves. There was a lack of availability from the florist this bakery uses, even though there are millions of grocery stores nearby that could carry them as a backup option. The bakery texted me, a day before the cake was due, for my approval of the color change, but failed to mention that my red roses were going to be dark pink instead, with one wilted (shown below), along with missing leaves. Not to mention, the cake is cracked down the middle, either from being old, too dry, too moist, or having broken during the baking process and smoothed over with icing. Whatever the reason may be, there are flaws to the cake that warrant a full refund, yet this bakery keeps trying to pull an excuse as to why I can't receive one. I admit to taking the cake home without saying anything at the time of receiving it, but in a rush to get home, I expressed my concerns patiently, calmly, and with these photographs in less than 24 hours to them, without touching the cake, yet that doesn't seem to warrant receiving over a hundred dollars back that I'd spent. Find a different bakery that has better "availability".
This business is run by the sweetest sisters! We hired them to bake our main wedding cake, and we went with a French chocolate buttercream (FCB) cake with mixed cupcakes—half also FCB and half red velvet. Absolutely delicious. We wish we could’ve enjoyed more of the cake at the wedding, but we know that our guests enjoyed it enough to finish it off as well all but three or four of the cupcakes. We highly recommend them for any catering events or even just a treat for yourself! Also, they did an excellent job with my then fiancé’s and my cake testing prior to ordering our wedding cake. A scheduled time for just us to sit together at a cute table for two near a window, tasting slices of freshly baked cakes (you get to choose three!) along with a provided champagne. Very romantic and well executed.
