I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the culinary prowess of these two private chefs, Caroline and Matt. I must say, I was absolutely blown away by the quality of their food and service. From the beginning of the La Ramen evening it was clear that Caroline and Matt were true professionals. The whole space smelled AMAZING. Throughout the evening, they were incredibly attentive, answering any questions about the dishes and ensuring that everyone's dining experience was as enjoyable as possible. But of course, the real star of the evening was the food itself. Each dish was beautifully presented, with a level of attention to detail that truly elevated the meal to something special. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and I could tell that every ingredient was intentional. There was a lot of debate on everyone's favorite course. For me it was tie between the main Tonkotsu ramen or the second course plantain dumpling with chorizo chicken on the sesame seed bun (some pics included). Such fun fusion mixtures on the palate. Or maybe it was the gummy worms at the end ;) They were also super attentive to one of my allergies, making a one-off plate for one of the courses. I was confused by the negative reviews and saw the two one-stars target the same services and give almost identical non-descriptive reviews. I wonder if they are trolls or haters from Caroline's Netflix Cooking Show because if you've ever met Caroline and Matt, you'd know they are always so polite and engaging. Overall, I highly recommend Caroline and Matt's private chef services. Their passion for food and dedication to their craft shone through in every aspect of the meal, and I would not hesitate to book them again in the future. If you're looking for a truly outstanding dining experience, look no further than Caroline and Matt. Five out of five stars!!!
I hired Caroline + Matthew for my friends baby shower in Atlanta (I live in California) and everything was absolutely amazing. I don't eat meat very often but I couldn't stop eating the meatballs they made with red sauce, peppers, and so much love it was like grandma made them. They also made tortilla espanola that transported me back to Spain. Not only was the food amazing, they were so professional, nice, calm, and collected even when there were a ton of drunk people around asking questions haha. Thank you C+M for a wonderful experience!
I had the pleasure of attending a dinner catered by Chef Matt and Chef Caroline. I was highly pleased. For someone like myself who hadn’t previously experienced a fine dining occasion, I was put to ease after the first bite. All 5 courses tasted amazing. Matt and Caroline were very friendly, prompt, professional, and detailed throughout the whole night. They explained every dish beforehand in a way that would guide your taste buds on a flavorful journey. After the evening was over, I was full yet wishing I had some food to take home. I would definitely recommend them to cook for any event.
I had the best experience with Caroline and Matthew. They came and cooked an incredible coursed dinner for my birthday and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Everyone loved it! The meal presentation was stunning, and tasted even better. Above all that Caroline and Matthew were so kind, funny, and professional. Any bad reviews here are from people who have not had the pleasure of a personal experience with them. 10/10 recommend! Thank you Caroline and Matthew for making my birthday so special! (The olive oil cake lives rent free in my dreams!!)
What a power couple! Chefs Caroline & Matt are absolutely incredible. From the menu customization to the presentation, this experience was a delight to the senses. You can tell each dish has been planned and perfected. They have a genuine passion for fresh takes on classic cuisine—which is rare in this day and age. We had a lovely evening and I can’t wait to call them for our next party!
