I want to start by saying the owner is super sweet! There aren’t many salons who allow you to bring your child with you to your appointment. People will never know, but little things like that can make a persons day. I am usually not the person that comment negative reviews, I usually take the L and go about my life, but this is hair we’re talking about! I had an appointment with Deja. She was sweet, and my hair looked good once finished. However, I just took the sew in out and it was actually the worse install I’ve ever had. The way it was sewn, was just all over the place. I can’t even describe it, but it was like instead of the thread, my hair strands were wrapped around the track. I spent hours with help getting that mess out, without having to cut my hair. I was terrified that cutting it would be my outcome because it was so hard taking it out, and beyond frustrating. That was my second time at this salon, my first experience I had a different stylist and I did not have any problems. In the most respectful way, I would strongly suggest she has more training or practice on how to install a sew in properly, before people end up having to cut all of their hair off.
First of all, this salon is hands down the best experience I have ever had!! All of the stylist are so nice and hospitable! Second, I reserved last minute and they got me in same hour. Then, me being me, I changed my mind about the style, but they worked me in anyway! 5 stars aren't enough for them!!
I absolutely love this salon. The owner is always there with a smile ready to serve you and get you in and out. Highly recommend if you want a very good sew-in I get compliments all the time
The stylist are all very professional and the salon is beautifully setup. I wouldn't trust my hair to anyone else. I love my stylist Porsha. She has been my stylist for over 15 years.
This salon was fantastic, and I will definitely use them again! I have only been to hair salons of any kind maybe 5 or 6 times since going natural in 2009. I've never appreciated how expensive it can be or how unnecessarily time consuming it can be. That said, 5 Star Weaves delivered quick, polite, quality service at an affordable price.
