I went early in the morning maybe 45 minutes after they opened. Two dogs greeted me (what if clients have allergies?). Two operators were there working on two clients. At least one client was getting her finishing touches. Website says no appointment necessary. I asked for what I thought was a common, simple hairstyle. I was told it was best to make an appointment and that the hairstyle I wanted couldn't be done by the operators who were on premises that day, so my business was turned away. A few hours later I gave my money and business to someone else.
Stylist, Shawna was on time and I wasn't overly charged. Plus was I love my hairstyle. I was out and about in no time. Tina the owner came to my book signing and purchased a book, most certainly, she is a woman of her word.
Am new to the Millville area and was looking for a good salon locally. And I was very pleased with Tina's hair salon. I had Toni, and she was great! Took care of me, and my hair came out really good. I will definitely be returning in the Spring. Thank you Tina's!
I've walked by this business all the time. It's full of ladies who get the latest hair styles. Tina, along with her employees are always hard at work and she has had customers praise her. I have actually walked into the business many times to say hello while in area. I have always been treated with respect and never heard anything bad about this business. She has worked hard to make this business from the bottom up. I've observed her work and those in the chair always seem happy with the end result. For a person of color, this is a huge stepping stone in todays world to go out and start a business not knowing if it will fail or succeed. She has come a long way. So to all LADIES of color who what to try something new, try Tina's Hair Salon. If it's not for you, then at least you looked into it. Have a Blessed Day
I took a chance as a walk-in I wasn’t sure if she was able to do my hair that day cause I wanted a dye. And they actually took me without an appointment. I had never been there, they were so nice I love the environment and so professional. I want to thank the girls so much but I did make an appointment for the next time. Thank you so much Tina & Asia for doing my hair. Her prices are great. And they’re so passionate when it comes to there work. I’m so happy that I had found this place. I found my perfect hair place.
