Local breakfast spot had amazing reviews, so I stopped in for breakfast. Very busy and had a nice streamlined process to wait for seating. Food was just ok, but had a lot of potential. I'm not sure if the rush impacted quality, but the biscuit and eggs were served cold. Cinnamon pancakes and potatoes were really good. Overall, decent visit!

Super cute outdoor patio. Excellent service. The indoor restaurant looks ready for refreshment. Delicious coffee and good food. My omelette lacked flavor- I found myself searching for the basil in the Taylor Street Omelette- and I barely found it. There was also something in my potatoes that looked like a fried potato- but tasted like fried liver. That was unexpected.

Sweet Maple Cafe has been on my To Go list for so long. I was excited to finally visit while in the area. I'm always looking for Black owned establishments to support. It's a fairly small and intimate, yet comfortable setting indoors. The staff were all nice and accommodating, which was very helpful as I had a double stroller for my children. There's an accessible entrance on the side for wheelchairs & strollers. The food was delicious with plenty to offer. We ordered a scramble & grits. Outdoor seating is offered but it hadn't opened for the season by the time I visited.

Listen, you HAVE to come here on a Friday morning for their catfish and eggs breakfast. So worth it! If you come here on any given day, you can expect great food, friendly service, and a cozy atmosphere, but if you come here on a Friday you get it with catfish! I can't wait to go back. The grits are also great with this meal. If you order cinnamon roll pancakes, you won't be able to eat regular cinnamon rolls again. SO GOOD!

Sweet Maple Cafe is a good place to get an early breakfast. They open at 7 am and close at 130 pm. They have good hospitality. We had to wait for 20 minutes to be seated because it was every small inside and very popular. Then the food was good, but the service was ok. My wife didn't like her food at all. She had the slacker fries. It was basically a skillet.
