Char and her team at Savoury Chic are none other than I've ever seen operate and experience in the planning & design industry. We hired them for our day-of-coordinators but they were more than just that to us. They helped us plan SO so much leading up to the actual week of the wedding. They are hands on, determined, and have their clients' best interest in mind. When I say that, that they have their clients' best interest in mind, we really mean far and beyond that phrase. They truly seek to make their clients' dreams come true in the best possible way accommodating budget, options, and opinions. Char is someone that I felt so comfortable texting, emailing, or calling at any hour if I felt that I needed her consultation for ANY type of situation during our planning season. Everyone on Char's team has a mindset of wanting the bride & groom to have the dreamiest day possible with no hiccups. And even if there were any hiccups during the wedding day, would've made sure that it be sorted out without the overlaying message stressing us out. They made sure to question us thoroughly so that on the day of the wedding, and even as far as the week of the wedding, that they were virtually our thoughts planted into a different brain. They knew us as a couple in and out, they studied our dynamic and learned our family relationships so that they could be a vital part of every decision and be confident that it would be something we would be 100% on board with if need be. Char's confidence in her work radiates and others can easily identify her leadership and do not hesitate to follow. They are communicate often and are not shy to tell you what you need to hear. They are loving and caring and tend to their clients so thoughtfully. I recommend them to ANYONE who is looking for a coordinator. Can't even imagine how much more involved they would be as planners! THE best of the best.
My partner and I hired Savoury Chic for planning our wedding. The service included day-of coordination. As a project manager, it was necessary to me to find someone who would take on the responsibility of planning our wedding such that I could enjoy being part of the process; it wouldn't be a second job for me. Savoury Chic has allowed me to enjoy the planning process and live in the moment as all of the pieces come together! Our very first call was an offloading on my part. Char patiently listened to all of the "up-to-now" statuses I could provide. I still called around, and other planners seemed preoccupied and even blase in our initial discussions. Out of all the planners I had looked at, Savoury Chic was the only one that I felt I could share with my partner. Until he met Char, he was apprehensive about even paying for a planner. Our first meeting was positive for us, and genuinely reinvigorating for me as we began charting more concrete steps. I have the utmost confidence that our August wedding is going to be greater than I have imagined because of her team's attention to detail, creativity, and genuine care. Here are some highlights from our experience thus far: 1. Advocacy: When it came to rentals, Char took on the task of finding vendors that worked for the budget. She presented what we thought we wanted as well as what we needed. She also helped us think through how best to navigate complex family relationships. 2. Accessibility: Be it in person, on call or via text, Char was always accessible when we needed her. How she does it, I will never know. 3. Organization, Planning, and Management. No matter who--my partner and I or a vendor--Char always followed up, so our planning remained on track. I also loved their online planning hub because it centralized all of our files, seating arrangements, schedules, budget--you name it! I can't recommend Char Jackson and Savoury Chic enough.
Love love love!!! They were amazing!!! I started planning my wedding way later than usual & char still Made sure i had everything i dreamed of. I absolutely loved Char. She not only did a amazing job with our wedding but she also went out of her way to make sure we were mentally okay. Anything thrown her way she could handle! She absolutely made our day the best day possible and I’ll never forget her.
I hired Savoury Chic for vendor management, day of coordination, and hotel block management. They went so far above and beyond every expectation I had!
