Very warm, pleasant, and safe environment on the South Side of Chicago. All of the therapists are very inviting and provide supportive guidance. Safe Place is a great environment to vent and get great advice. If you need to get anything off your chest, please come and discuss. Come and support these wonderful, successful, black, therapists!!
There is a such a warm and welcoming atmosphere every time you walk into Safe Place. My counselor, Nila Pate, ensures that every session is purposeful and provides me with great insight into anything with which I may deal in my daily life! I also can’t say enough how amazing it is that it is a Black-owned, women-owned business! I would HIGHLY recommend Safe Place to anyone.
Not sure where one of these idiots I saw got their degrees but she is definitely one of the worst counselors that I had the displeasure of talking to.
The therapist’s there are very accommodating! They make sure to give you a safe space to open up to them without judgement! They’re friendly. I definitely would recommend that if you haven’t been to therapy you should check them out & I’m almost certain you’ll like the help you receive!
