How anyone mentioned the Crab Fries yet? They are excellent! Someone said their salad looked sad. My Garden Salad was pretty good. The only reason for 4 stars was they didn't have the Jumbo Crabs today for my husband. They had the #1s. Our waitress was also fantastic. Refills without asking and kept us up to date on everything. The small crabs are harder to work but he said they were good though. You can order half dozen!
Really loved this place. First up, the basics. The place is small, you can't eat inside, but they have ample outdoor seating. We didn't order ahead, so we went in and placed our order. We ate outside. The food was excellent. I had the burger, my partner had the fish tacos. She said the fish tacos were amazing. The burger was awesome. Also got the crab fries to share which were good but the food was very filling. Overall the meal was excellent, like fine dining quality. The onion rings were fried in a tempura style mix and delicious. We are definitely going back again and thinking about using them to cater a party later this summer.
My family was on our way back home to MI when we decided to stop in Cumberland for something to eat. Tired of the fast food same old same old. I got on Google maps and found Chef Paul's had the best reviews in town nearly 5⭐️. So we made our way to Paul's. We were wholeheartedly welcomed by a super nice man. After finding out this was our first visit he explained what they were known for and some of the best items on the menu. He was great very helpful and super nice. I went with the Shrimp pita oh it was so good made fresh everyday and you can tell. My wife got the fish tacos she said they were very good as well. We both had their famous beans. They are great lots of flavor. Our daughter had chicken stripes and fries she was happy also. The portions were very good and we left very satisfied. Thanks again for the wonderful meal. They also have a awards program here. Buy unfortunately we won't be there often enough to take advantage. But we will be back if ever we are in the area.
Chef Paul's did not disappoint. The food had great flavor and was cooked perfectly. The chips and salsa are amazing. My daughter & girlfriend got the buffalo chicken Flatbread and I got the bacon cheeseburger. Yum! Everything was awesome. Definitely go by and give them a try.
I was on my way somewhere else and passed by this place. Something made me make a U-turn in the used car lot across the road. Went in, and it smells right. Asked the staff for recommendations, and was talked through the entire menu. I settled for what I was told was the best Reuben around and their baked beans as a side. They did not lie!! The bread!! How?? NYC rye in Ridgely?? The entire sandwich was divine! The baked beans were amazing!! Two foods that are very easy to get wrong, done to a turn. And so close to my new house in Cumberland!! I can tell I landed in the exact right place. BTW, they have a loyalty points scheme, I will wind up with free food!! I will work my way through the whole menu, and will either edit this review or write more
