I cannot recommend this catering company enough. I want to give the staff of Outside the Box Catering a HUGE THANK YOU!!! I was pressed for time in ordering food and we were running low on options. As one of the few black-owned catering companies, we were interested in collaborating with them, but I was afraid the time limitations would be too tight. Tameka gave me a call as soon as I sent in an inquiry and WORKED EVERYTHING OUT. Their ability to adjust to my needs under the time crunch was amazing. They fit in the budget without compromising their high standard of service and quality of food!! They were incredible and fulfilled my last minute order with ease. They came in, set everything up for us, and alleviated SO MUCH of the stress of hosting an event. AND THE FOOD. We got SO MANY compliments on the quality of the food. Next time, I'm asking them to leave a few business cards because I handed out their information to several attendees! We will definitely be ordering from them in the future!!!
This was my first time working with Outside the Box Catering, and it definitely will not be the last! They were responsive and accommodating with all of our requests. They created a menu around our theme and even were able to pivot THE DAY BEFORE when circumstances out of our control arose. The day of, her team arrived with plenty of time to set up and throughout the night ensured everything was going well. And the food, OMG it was amazing!! I cannot wait for the next opportunity to be able to work with this amazing, minority & female owned business!
Out of the Box Catering was terrific! Cassandra was wonderful to deal with and the menu we selected was delicious for our special roof top celebration for 30. Everything was perfect and beautifully set up by their staff. I highly recommend them -- you will not be disappointed!
My office does a weekly catered lunch, and my colleagues are already asking when we can order again! The food was delicious (I personally recommend the Mac Bites!), and Tameka was communicative and accommodating. If I could give 6 stars... I would.
This is by far one of the best kept secret in Chicagoland area. Make sure you take so ToGo home with you. Tell them Joe sent you. This is one of my favorite meals. Jerk Salmon, garlic mash or sweet potatoes and spinach.
