I never leave reviews but I just happened to Google my therapist office to make another appointment and saw the bad reviews. It’s clear that these are fake and a form of harassment. I have been seeming Kimmy Wu for over a year and my experience has been nothing but incredible. Yes she’s an intern, but that does not mean she isn’t a good therapist. I have seen four different therapists throughout my life, and Kimmy is just as effective as those that have decades of experience. Such a shame to see trolls online slandering people like this.
Decided to look up my therapist’s office on Google and noticed the recent negative reviews, which are so opposite my experience that I feel compelled to write a review myself. I am no stranger to weird or outright bad experiences with a therapists office in the past. Every interaction I’ve had with this practice over the last year or so has been perfectly professional. I have only seen one therapist in my time with them, but I can attest that Ashley H. is highly skilled, thoughtful, empathetic, and a real collaborator, not just a passive listener. Even when my insurance changed and I knew I wasn’t going to be in network, I stayed with them. That my two cents!
Take the negative reviews here in context and read the replies. Fake negative reviews are a real thing. Maybe some folks had a bad experience with an intern, which is unfortuinate, but the negativity seems personal. My own experience has been excellent!
Kimmy is the most inexperienced therapist I've ever encountered. Total waste of time. I wouldn't recommend a company who hires such inexperienced kids to trust. This is someone's mental health. Why would you leave it in the hands of some who has no idea how to do anything mental health related.
Highly disappointed at how unprofessional and degrading this group is. They act innocent and pretend to know what they're saying but when it comes to doing the work, they are flustered to the point of blurring out inappropriate things! I have never dealt with such unprofessionalism. STAY AWAY.
