Lunch hours here are busy for this little sandwich shop but they're known in the neighborhood. Love the music and picture selections in the establishment!! Smoothies were so fresh and delicious I love the DJ Jerk Chicken Panini 😋 great customer service too! Support this black own business 🙌🏾
Fantastic service with the friendliest family of staff 😭 Tried them at lollapalooza, got the: 🍔 Turkey burger bites 🍌 bomb dot com fried plantains 🥪 famous turkey monte cristo Sandwich (batter + light sugar with toast, cheese & turkey frie)d 🍠 Veggie Philly cheese steak 🍋 Homemade strawberry lemonade Seriously everything was delicious! Definitely would want to try the monte cristo and PLAINTAINS freshly fried in the shop 😋 likely the best PLAINTAINS I've had in Chicago Would recommend ordering on their website ahead of time vs using door dash/GrubHub. Support small businesses ❤️
I’ve had the chickpea salad sandwich and the salmon salad here. Both were 10/10! The flavor in the chickpea salad was really nice and the crunch of the lettuce, onion and tomato complimented the tang nicely. The salmon salad dressing was one of the best I’ve had! Service was quick and nice. Really nice vegetarian options.
Let me start this review with saying I would like to personally thank the owner for putting such a Cornerstone in the community your establishment was so much needed in the park manor community I love coming into the shop and I'm always greeted by a friendly hello and a warm smell also the ambience in here is amazing and just in case you're a first-timer and don't really know what it is you want which is most of us the staff is well knowledgeable in letting you know what everything entails even if you have allergies I always make sure that I get the tuna sandwich and I love that they have homemade cookies and you kind of never want to leave I just love the vibe and I pray that this establishment stays around for years to come you got my support and my vote I love supporting black businesses I'm going to come visit you guys pretty soon I'm getting hungry writing this review so if you guys are ever in the Park Manor Community make sure you guys stop in to this Mabe's and order everything on the menu don't forget to.order me a peanut butter smoothie hey don't take my word from it come in and try for yourself you definitely and your stomach is going to thank you , I love the healthy selections as well that they carry check it out This place deserves 10 stars **********
It was a clean refreshing environment with excellent service. It was a little busy but the women on the cashier was still able to efficiently take care of everyone without missing a beat. The food was fresh, seasoned well and hot. I was not able to save until I got to work. I had to munch in my car. The smoothie was cold and tastefully blended with fresh fruits with nothing overbearing.
