Enjoyed volunteering here for back to school event. I was invited by the first lady the people were so sweet I enjoyed every last one of them. I can't wait to visit the Sunday service.
Jewish Congregation back in the 1920s-50s. It called Beyt Hamidrash Ha Gadol which means The House of Biblical study of the Most High. it derived from the root verb darash (דָּרַשׁ), which means "resort to, seek, seek with care, enquire, require", forms of which appear frequently in the Hebrew Bible (Tanakh) The congregation moved from 3434 S. Wabash in 1926. what was Hilarious is that I spoke with the pastor some years ago and he was Clueless about this and the fact that Hebrew o Scriptures are still on top of the facade. SMH

Great people . Pastor Boyd is a good man. The church is always trying to do something for the neighborhood. My aunt has been there over 50 years, she will make you feel right at home.
