Wow, I am a regular consumer of vegan food (I’m not vegan) and this is by far the best! I went on a Sunday and didn’t know that they don’t have their regular menu on Sunday’s. Instead, they have a soul food bar. I got the bowl in which you can get whatever you want. The employee hooked me up and gave me a little bit of everything. My faves were the veggie medley, the bbq tofu, THE MAC N CHEESE AND PEACH COBBLER!! best I’ve ever had in my life, vegan or not. If it wasn’t so far I would have been back by now. 10/10 would recommend.

Daisy's Cafe is a family-owned and operated vegan restaurant located in the Chicagoland suburb of South Holland. The cafe has been serving up delicious vegan food for over 10 years, and it's clear that the owners are passionate about their craft. I recently visited Daisy's Cafe for lunch and ordered the Raw Plate, which comes with four sides. I had the potato salad, carrot salad, quinoa, and eggless pate. Everything was delicious! The potato salad was creamy and flavorful, the carrot salad was crunchy and refreshing, the quinoa was hearty and satisfying, and the eggless pate was rich and decadent. I also ordered a Royal Ginger Drink, which was made with fresh ginger, lemon, and honey. The drink was refreshing and invigorating, and it was the perfect way to cool off on a hot day. The staff at Daisy's Cafe is friendly and welcoming. They were happy to answer my questions about the menu, and they made sure that my food was prepared exactly the way I wanted it. Overall, I had a great experience at Daisy's Cafe. The food is delicious, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is inviting. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious vegan meal. Here are some additional details about my experience: * The Raw Plate was $16.25. * The Royal Ginger Drink was $6.50. * The cafe is open from 11:30am to 8pm Sunday-Saturday . * They have a full menu of vegan breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. * They also offer catering services. * The cafe is located at 253 W 162nd St, South Holland, IL 60473. I hope this review helps you decide if Daisy's Cafe is the right place for you. If you're looking for a delicious vegan meal, I highly recommend giving them a try!

Would I come back? Yes to try other food items so that I can make it myself (SERIOUSLY LOL). The flavors of my wrap were good though. The atmosphere is odd and not welcoming. The woman is giving "Im not happy with myself vibes". Very rude, dismissive very odd. Like do you like your job or not? If not its simple go somewhere else. However, I don't see that happening as shes very bland and unseasoned in Character at her big age. The rest of the staff I caught looking at me every time I looked up. But no one actually speaks/greet you its just weird. Happy to get acquainted with the flavors and watch as someone else opens and succeeds in this cuisine. I make a better wrap at home!

Smoke protein wrap was exceptional! On the other hand my onion rings looked and tasted as if they had been recooked several times. I order a protein wrap and onion rings, and it literally took over an hour for my food to be ready. Other than poor cook/waiting time .. 6/10 would recommend

Can’t even tell there’s a restaurant there, parking is sparse. Two people working, waited about 5 minutes before they even realized I was there. (Which I get it, there’s only two people). Told me it would be 25-30 minutes for two combo meals: rib tips and the Jerusalem gyro. It did take 25 minutes and the food is mediocre. Fries are done but they don’t look like they are, not crispy at all . Food is just meh. The gyro is super soggy and doesn’t have much flavor. Not worth the hassle unfortunately. I was really looking forward to trying this place out.
