Dressing a yes, greens a yes, yams mmmmmmm. Be prepared to wait patiently. Clean, updated atmosphere INSIDE. 19.99 for a turkey leg and two sides was reasonably priced to me. Thank you for the experience today. I agree all food temps should be equal so I had to minus a star.
I’m not sure who is back there cooking today but this food is nasty. The mashed potatoes are hard and lumpy. And what’s supposed to be “pepper steak and rice” is POT ROAST and rice. 😒 The string beans are okay.
Order turkey chops with Mac and sweet potatoes. Sweet potatoes weren’t sweet. Taste like a can on sweet potatoes. Nice texture maybe not baked or not enough brown sugar, honey, or syrup. Mac and cheese wasn’t tasty. Parsley for decorating. I was scooped a crusted over section with a fresh or middle section so some of it was hard. Rice wasn’t too soft. Turkey chops we filling but bland. Nice server. Nice atmosphere. Good service.
Just got this four piece of smoothers chicken with spicy mack and cheese, yam, roll and good greens. Chicken could've been better!!! The peach roll shouldn't cost that much to taste just OK.
I recently had the pleasure of experiencing authentic Chicago food on the run, and let me tell you, it was like a taste of home. Every bite reminded me of the delicious meals my own grandma used to cook with love and care. The flavors were simply incredible. every dish had that unmistakable taste of authenticity. The ingredients were fresh, the spices perfectly balanced, and the attention to detail evident in every bite. It was clear that the chefs behind this food knew their craft and had mastered the art of capturing the true essence of Chicago cuisine. What impressed me the most was how well the food traveled. The portion sizes were generous, just like grandma used to make. Each dish was filling and satisfying, providing a true taste of Chicago's hearty culinary tradition. It's a rare find to encounter food that is both authentic and convenient for those with a busy lifestyle. From start to finish, the experience was delightful. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the service was prompt. They truly understood the importance of customer satisfaction and made me feel valued as a customer. If you're craving genuine Chicago food that tastes like grandma cooked it herself, I highly recommend giving this place a try. It's a culinary journey that will transport you to the comforting flavors of home, even when you're on the move.
