Do not go here at least after 5pm. They rushed my service. Didn’t even get an apron for my deep cleaning. Wasn’t even offered a towel to wipe off the water after my cleaning. The numbing was injected and without waiting the doctor immediately started cleaning with high impact tools so of course I felt everything. Didn’t receive after care instructions (use Morton, Floss, etc). My basic cleaning wasn’t even done. But they took money off my debit card prior to service.
I've never felt so inhumane in my life. Dr. O's (Owner & Head Dentist) service was extremely poor to say the least. He makes you as a woman (I am) or elderly male (per third party) feel that you are not worth his time. He is very impatient, sterile and EGO driven, humble isn't in his vocabulary. This was my first time being serviced there and after he couldn't extract my tooth due to the pain being inflicted, mid-extraction, he stopped and stated he couldn't service me any further. I asked to speak with him about my experience and he acted a donkey. His reply response began with first of all, and he proceeded to chastise me. Leaving me in worse pain then when I arrived due to his poor attempt to rectify my issue. It can be seen as a lack of knowledge on how to proceed with my issue. While at the front desk checking out he then appeared from a back/side walkway yelling and being condescending talking about how I was his best patient ever. I laughed at his behavior and said when you want to do right, evil is ever present. Please don't go here, the staff are amazing young black women, but Dr.O means you no good.
I am a young adult (24) that usually won’t write reviews due to not caring as much or knowing a business is already not being patronized as much anyway so for me to write this please understand that there was a reason. Today was my first and last time ever going to Chatham Dental Care and I’d advise anyone no matter the age to seek dental care elsewhere as well. Rude , unprofessional , impatient , attitudinal , lacking in quality care , unknowledgeable , lazy and immature. These are all words/terms to describe all of the staff present during the time of my visit. I am currently pregnant and was told to bring in a note from my OBGYN about what was needed/allowed for me to be seen at a dentist. I brought the note in with me and was immediately told by the dental assistant (I’m assuming that’s what she was) that I would need an antibiotic that was not an approved antibiotic by my doctor after only getting an x-ray no further examination. Once the doctor entered , he spoke down to me in a disrespectful tone, treating me as if my questions were dumb as if I’m a licensed dentist and should know things already and lied about what they would be able to do. On top of the rude/nasty service , I overheard two separate conversations about former or current patients who were looking to sue the business due to malpractice. Both patients were discussed using derogatory language and terms that made me feel uncomfortable and not want to return. I left the establishment after only getting my teeth cleaned while being told I needed a root canal and called to cancel the appointment set out for 6 months from now. If I could wait 6 months for the issue I was having I wouldn’t have came in today but besides that the way the staff spoke of the other patients led me to believe this was not a place that deserved my time or patronage. While trying to kindly cancel the appointment, Shameka (hopefully spelling correctly) the front desk clerk , answered me rudely , talked to me nastily and hung up before I could finish my sentence. Please, if you can, find another place to go. It saddens writing a review like this but it needed to be done. All black owned businesses are not in the business of actually helping their own more so mistreating , demeaning and undermining them.
Absolutely Love them great service the staff is friendly attentive and helpful. The Dentist is amazing my kids hate going to get their teeth clean but he makes them feel comfortable and safe. Highly recommend
You can’t beat same day appointment. The entire staff is very kind and accommodating. I chose this place because it’s close but I’m so thankful I found this place and now I tell everybody about it. I hate needles, especially in my mouth, and so the thought of going to a dentist always terrifies me but he makes it very painless. I highly recommend the place.
