Came to town for the Taste of Chicago and this, EASILY, was the best thing I've had for the trip... And they're weren't even at the Taste. It's hard to find places that can genuinely give you a good vegan/vegetarian burger outside of a black bean burger. I most definitely plan on going back before I leave and I'll most definitely make that trip from Florida to get my fix,lol.
My wife and I wanted to try this spot for the longest, and will we return I think NOT AT ALL! Forget how it tasted which was basic Philly Cheesesteaks, but we spent 40 f****** dollars and they weren’t even foot longs. Way too expensive and only got like 10 fries. Black owned or not we agreed we won’t be back.
Everything was great. I had the Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rolls & a Mango Peach Lemonade. Just have one complaint to make - the staff in the back of the house is very unprofessional. They was giving the cashier, Tatianna R., a hard time by not listening, not making orders she asked them to make and arguing with her. If it didn’t take me 40 min by bus to get there I would’ve just left and went somewhere else. Nobody wants to walk into an establishment listening to the staff arguing. It’s very unprofessional.
This place is incredible! I think literally everything on the menu can be made vegan even if it originally comes with dairy cheese. My partner got the cheese pizza, and it was so incredibly good and hit the spot. Does strawberry milkshake was insane - I cannot believe how good it was, the non-dairy ice cream they used was outstanding. Literally everything we tried was amazing and I can't imagine that there's anything on their menu that isn't. I really feel like this place could trick any meat eater with how good their stuff is!
I have been eating vegetarian food my entire life and this was by far some of the best I’ve ever had. The meat was not too greasy or attempting to mimic real meat, yet had a very flavorful taste to it. I was extremely impressed with the staff as they were extremely helpful and friendly. They have wonderful recommendations and provided excellent information about the restaurant and it’s offering. I got the loaded fries because I wanted to taste the freshness of their veggies and I was thoroughly impressed. Please give this place a try, whether you are vegetarian or not, the food will still blow your mind.
