I want to thank you for baking this cake for us on suck shot notice. It was great that you were able let us place this order 2 days before the 4th. Everyone love the cake and the cake pops. I'm only giving 4 stars because we couldn't contact from your website but through Facebook. Can't wait to see what your website will look like soon. Will recommend you to friends
Stay away from this business! When we heard about this business, we were excited to work with him. His pictures of previous cakes looked awesome on his Yelp page but now I think all these photos are fabricated. We reserved a hulk cake for my sons 3rd birthday. We paid over $100 for this cake. My son was looking forward to his awesome cake that Cal had promised us. We were under the impression that he was going to deliver the cake and on the day before the party, he told us he was going to ship the cake via UPS. Who ships a cake?! What we got in the mail was not what we agreed on...and when trying to reach him on the day of the party, he did not return any of our calls or emails. We want our money back. We still have yet to hear from him. Cal ruined our sons 3rd birthday and we were left last minute to find a hulk toy topper to help savage thus disastrous mess. I would give this zero stars if I could. They cancelled my order 3 hours AFTER they were supposed to deliver. They refused to pick up the phone, refused to respond to emails, or text. There was no explanation. No apology. Even worse? They’ve refused to process my refund. It’s been 2 weeks now and as far as I’m concerned they’re scammers. Their website also doesn’t let anyone submit a review if it’s less than 2 stars and you can see them clearly only replying to positive reviews.
I found this bakery on Google and thought I'd give it a try. At first, I was scared due to the last review but, I'm glad I did. I was in Chicago having a few small weddings with a few family and friends and needed a simple wedding cake. When we reached out he informed us that he was out of town but he could still make the cake and ship it to us. I was a little nervous about that but agreed. The day before the wedding we were so surprised to see Cal with the cake at the house( since we were having it at my parents). I was so happy about that since I know shipping companies never care about your fragile items. We opened the box and was so happy to see that he did it just like we wanted. He gave us all the instructions on how to prep the cake before we serve it.
Cannot say enough good things about the prompt response & care Cal put into a cupcake order we placed for a small social distance gathering. Will be ordering again!
