We tried the Obama cake and as such can opine that the red velvet, yellow cake and chocolate cake leave much to be desired. They all tasted like they were from the same base and had the same stale texture. The icing was stiff with too much sugar and was inedible. No one wanted a second slice.
The desserts were Decent! The pound cake was soft and pretty good. We had slices of cake, yellow chocolate and cream cheese. They were a decent 5/10. However Angelica’s slices of cakes are much better. The Carmel icing is very good here.
I wish I could show the whole piece, but it's just that good! Drove 3 hours to stay a few days in Chicago with the wife, and we HAD to get our cheesecake fix. This is the ONLY cheesecake I eat!!!
Best cake in the city! Hands down! I've been getting slices from there for over 10 years! I typically buy whole cakes for special occasions! The caramel cream is unique and delicious. Don't sleep on the pound cake! Everything from there is delightful and Stephanie is a phenomenal woman! You won't be disappointed!!
OMG! If you haven't tried them. Do It Now! You won't be disappointed. Ordered this for my birthday and it was a gigantic hit. I have had their cupcakes and they are evey bit as good as the cakes. What are you waiting for?!!!!!
