Ashley catered a conference (Montessori for Social Justice!) I attended in Chicago. Everything was top notch and professional, from the service delivered by friendly folks to the thoughtful use of extra food - donated to the hosting school’s Love Fridge for anyone in the community who needs it. The variety of restricted diet options was the best I’ve ever had at a work event. As a lifelong carnivore, I was skeptical of the vegan meatballs…then ended up going back for more! Also, barbecue jackfruit as a side - are you kidding me?! So good! Thanks, Ashley and crew, for nourishing this humble educator with world class food!
Ashley is attentive, professional, and of course makes great tasting food. I worked with Ashley for about 3 months getting 10 meals a week. It made my lunch and dinners easy which left me with time to do other things. I certainly recommend Chef Ashley for any occasion. I personally will be a longtime customer.

I’m a highly sought after marketer in Chicago and she was my private chef for my luxury marketing and branding workshop. My guest loved her as much as they loved her food. I utilized Ashley Eats for my grandmother's repast. Ashley was very professional and responded quickly to all my questions. The staff was prompt and so sweet and my family is still raving about the food. I am so glad I was recommended to this business, really helped my family get through this hard time.
FYI LONG POST: I hired a personal chef for my daughter graduation event. Here’s my experience. This was someone my daughter found on IG. We needed to feed 25-30 people. I received the first invoice with the total which was $903. I asked how I could pay the deposit? She sent me a separate invoice for $425 this was paid a week before the event. Four days prior to the event I received another invoice for the balance. I’m thinking oh she’s being proactive. Ok cool. Not. The day before the event the chef sends Destini a text saying the the remaining invoice was not paid and she wouldn’t be able to shop for the food. I call her and inquire why the full amount is due and service wasn’t rendered yet. She explained the break down for the services. Explains her fee is $350 and I say ok which you’ll get when services are rendered. Anyway I paid the full cost. The day of the event she was supposed to be at the event 2 hours prior. She didn’t arrive until 15 minutes before. Came in didn’t say anything to the people at the house. Destini called to see where she was. She said she was looking for Champagne so Destini says don’t worry my mom already bought all the Champagne. She laughs. I get home with Destini, introduce myself as the person who paid for her services. She didn’t even want to shake my hand. She continued setting up. Mind you we had to provide our own platters and serving utensils. Someone yells where did the chef go. She had packed up and exited and didn’t say nothing to no one. I go outside and call her. I ask did you leave? She says yes I had another event in Glen Ellen! I say but you’re Services were supposed to be from 11:30-3:30. She said no she was just supposed to set up and be gone by the time my guest got there. We had to set up and pour our own drinks. Her name is Ashley from Ashley Eats Chicago. And they say support black owned business. But these the services I got.
